The participants are taken on a journey of learning the key ingredients that contribute to establishing and sustaining a successful fashion business or Career in Africa.
The Leap Project 1.0
The first Cohort of the leap project ran from March 2021 - May 2021. It was a three (3) month program which included eight (8) weeks intensive online program, mentorship sessions and featuring twelve (12) participants, six (6) program facilitators and selected mentors.
At the end of the Program, the top five participants were selected through a series of assessments that occurred during the program.
The Leap Project 2.0
Cohort Two was held from April 2022 to June 2022. It included a six (6) weeks digital training and case study sessions, one (1) month Internship Placement and mentorship program for top finalists. We onboarded 50 participants from all across Africa, with twelve (12) program facilitators. The top ten finalists were selected from an assessment and participated in a pitch finale in which the top five were rewarded with mini grants, opportunities to showcase and sell their products at exhibitions and entry into the Fashion Industry through internships.
